Sedrick's path to Woodforest provided him with a plethora of experiences in the practical application of CRA and Community Development. He believes that Community Development is all about making sure you make an impact.

Sedrick holds the advocacy groups who fight to give a voice to the less fortunate in high regard, because they are fighting for people like him. He remembers the struggles he faced and the help these organizations were able to give. Sedrick believes that Woodforest as a bank has a responsibility to be responsive to these groups, as they help us remember who we should be fighting for.
