Mr. Ronald Hantz has more than twenty-five years of experience in the development of affordable housing, economic development, program and policy development. He has provided technical assistance to non-profit organizations regarding board governance, strategic planning, business planning, fund development, job creation, and neighborhood revitalization. Mr. Hantz is an authority on the use of public and private financing tools for community development.
Mr. Hantz has held positions as Executive Director, Senior Project Manager and Community Organizer. He is a Master Certificate Graduate of the Johnnie Coleman Institute, where he received his formal study in metaphysics.
Mr. Hantz is best known for his work in founding a community based development corporation that initiated the re-development one of Baltimore's poorest neighborhoods. During his tenure with the Inner City Community Development Corporation, he worked to have organization certified as Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency. He was responsible for attracting private investment to support community programs; it was one of the more successful housing programs in the Rosemont community of Baltimore. He continued this work as a consultant strengthening emerging organizations and providing creative approaches to community-based development in low income areas.
