Rev. Judith Hokhmah is currently the spiritual leader of The Judith Hokhmah Ministries, LLC engaged in conducting online classes, workshops and seminars based on the better living New Thought teachings espoused by the Reverend Johnnie Coleman and the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Chicago, Illinois. She is also serving as Eastern Regional Prayer Chaplain Trainer and as Prayer Ministry Spiritual Leader within the One God, One Thought Center for Better Living, Baltimore, 2006-now. During her years of preparation for ordination by the UFBL, Reverend Judit also served the Inner Vision Institute for Spiritual Development, Silver Spring, Maryland as Curriculum Writer, Workshop developer, Spiritual Life Coach and Faculty. As a member of the IVISD faculty, she taught in the Ministerial Education Program and the Personal Spiritual Development Program.
Rev. Hokhmah's academic accomplishments include: M.A. human developmental psychology, B.S. CUM LAUDE education, and AA business administration.
She is a talented, gifted teacher who spent the early part of her career as a professional educator and administrator in institutes of higher learning as well as public and private school systems. She served as Teacher, Media Specialist and Educational Change Facilitator, within the DC Public Schools. Prior to that experience, she served as the Labor Field Representative of the Washington Teachers' Union, Local 6.
The difference Rev. Hokhmah is making has had an extraordinary effect on so many in and around the Washington, Maryland,Virginia region and every place where she travels as guest speaker, teacher, and leader; conducting workshops, seminars and retreats in churches,educational institutions, community and professional organizations. Whether these communities have been located in NYC, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Baltimore, WDC, Ibadan, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana, Rev. Hokhmah's success is in her uncanny ability to take the most fundamental new thought teachings and principles of spirituality, and to create practical, soul deepening applications to life's challenges.
