Martha N. Zurita is the Interim Executive Director for the Maestro Entrepreneur Center, a growth accelerator and business incubator in the San Antonio Metro Area in partnership with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Martha has vast experience advocating for small businesses, developing responsive programming and strengthening partnerships in the community. Prior to her Interim role, Martha led all small business initiatives, programs and events for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout her professional career, Martha has been actively involved with the small business community in San Antonio. Her previous role as the Director of the Women’s Business Center for LiftFund provided her with experience working with entrepreneurs and supporting them in each step of their business ventures. She has contributed to the development and growth of several small business groups and forums including the Business Opportunity Academy, LiftFund’s Women Mentorship Program, and Free Trade Alliance’s Women in International.
In addition to her non-profit experience, Martha has also worked in the private sector as Director of Client Services supporting small to medium size businesses with the creation and implementation of marketing plans. Such experience gave her the ability to further understand the challenges and opportunities faced by growing businesses.
Martha received a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and International Business from St. Mary’s University.
Martha is actively engaged in leadership groups that empower and encourage women and minorities to become successful business leaders.
