Kristina Nielander a Community Organizer with the Washington Housing Alliance Action Fund. She staffs a program called the Resident Action Project, which aims to build power and leadership with people who have personal experience with housing instability and homelessness across the state of Washington. Kristina began organizing during her service year at the Housing Alliance through the Quaker Experiential Service and Training program after she graduated from the University of Kansas in 2015. She is eager to continue to grow and learn as an organizer, especially in the fight for racial, economic, and housing justice. Kristina enjoys spending time outside, making art, and reading books.
